Sales Engineer Process Technology Specialist

Drive Business Growth as a Sales Engineer

Sulzer is seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to drive the growth of our mass transfer components and services business in assigned territory and/or assigned clients. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for generating and processing leads, technically and commercially, from first contact until contract award. You will build and maintain customer relationships and network.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Present our technologies, products, services, and specific applications to customers
  • Prepare and calculate proposals in conjunction with back-office
  • Negotiate commercial and technical proposals with customers
  • Monitor the opportunity pipeline and provide management with forecast
  • Follow market trends, customers, and competitors, and propose actions to address and utilize market needs
  • Liaise with engineers in the Refinery and Chemical & Petrochemical
  • Familiar with calculation and other IT-tools
  • Usage and update of CRM and forecast tool
  • Develop long-term relationships with key customers

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
  • 5-8 years of work experience in similar areas
  • Expertise in the mass transfer market in the territory
  • Engaged business person with professional sales experience in similar business environments
  • Fluent in German and English
