Business Development Representative

We are partnering with a global market research company to fill a Business Development Executive role in their German sales team. This entry-level position is based in Düsseldorf and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

This role is ideal for ambitious individuals looking to advance their careers in B2B sales. You will work closely with experienced salespeople to establish new customer contacts, schedule appointments, and support the sales process with relevant insights.

Key tasks include:

  • Scheduling new business appointments through networking and lead sourcing activities.
  • Conducting discovery calls to qualify opportunities.
  • Monitoring and recording sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Presenting to and consulting with clients.
  • Working towards daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
  • Negotiating and closing deals.
  • Utilizing sales technologies such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Groove, and Salesforce.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A university degree in Business or an equivalent education.
  • Some experience in direct sales B2B.
  • Ideal experience in business development, telesales, inside sales, outbound call centre, lead generation, telemarketing, or sales support.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • An interest in market research and marketing.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluent German and good English.
