Senior Business Development Manager for Amazon Smart Vehicles

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Amazon Smart Vehicles. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our reach to customers in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and negotiate business opportunities with top automotive manufacturers for Amazon Smart Vehicles' products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, commercial, project management, and technical teams.
  • Brief Amazon executive teams on progress in adopting Alexa and related services.
  • Build relationships and interface with all levels of automotive manufacturers, from senior executives to technical managers.
  • Develop business cases for opportunities and review them with commercial management and senior leaders in ASV.
  • Work with product teams to create solutions that meet the needs of automotive manufacturers and end customers.
Requirements
  • Professional experience in the automotive industry, closing strategic and complex deals.
  • Several years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Development, Product Management/Product Marketing, Partner Management, or Engineering Leadership.
  • Experience with business models, contractual setups, and distributing software/services.
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
  • Extraordinary business writing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and managing successful large-scale and complex partnerships.
  • Experience with complex automotive software.
  • Solid experience working cross-functionally with technical products and teams, understanding technical details.
  • Strong analytical orientation; comfortable using data to make decisions.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate with and influence executives, and both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience driving multiple tasks in highly ambiguous environments and decision processes.
  • Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
