About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Manager to join our team at PAUL HARTMANN AG. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of environmental sustainability and compliance in our waste management practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Sustainability: Develop and implement strategies to minimize our environmental footprint, including reducing waste, increasing recycling, and promoting sustainable practices.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that our waste management practices comply with all relevant regulations and laws, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the organization.
  • Waste Management: Oversee the classification, sorting, packaging, and declaration of waste, including hazardous materials, to ensure efficient and effective waste management practices.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in waste management and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with waste management service providers, including contract negotiation, qualification, supervision, and auditing.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain and analyze waste management KPIs and costs, ensuring transparency and reporting both locally and internationally.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree or vocational training in a related field, with work experience in HSE or waste management.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Experience in managing environmental compliance, audits, and management systems, as well as additional qualifications such as Waste Management Officer, Hazardous Goods Officer, Immission Control Officer, Environmental/Quality Management Auditor, or Occupational Safety Expert.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and German.
