Your Future Role
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Project Manager to join our team in Siegen, Germany. As a key member of our corporate functions, you will play a crucial role in supporting and improving the performance of our sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute, monitor, and optimize material budgets, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Establish and manage procurement schedules, focusing on technical requirements documents and drawing releases.
- Coordinate interfaces between project and procurement organizations, representing procurement in project-related activities.
- Provide project-specific terms and conditions to responsible buyers.
- Drive make-or-buy decisions based on overall strategy, incorporating supplier input for business cases.
- Coordinate project-related material cost reduction activities.
- Manage supplier documentation, including requirements and execution.
- Ensure dual or multi-sourcing activities are shared, aligned, and agreed with the project team before purchase order placement.
- Facilitate contact with suppliers to support parts approval processes.
- Secure that strategies are implemented and project sourcing plans are aligned with global commodity management.
Requirements
- University of Applied Science degree (engineer or commercial) or comparable.
- Technical knowledge.
- Strong personal responsibility and willingness to travel.
- Capability and willingness to work in an international environment.
- Ability to communicate in German and English.
- Good knowledge of MS-Excel and PowerPoint, SAP knowledge a plus.
