Your Future Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Project Manager to join our team in Siegen, Germany. As a Procurement Project Manager, you will be responsible for executing, monitoring, and optimizing material budgets, establishing and managing procurement schedules, and coordinating interfaces between project and procurement organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor material budgets, identifying potential risks and opportunities
  • Establish and manage procurement schedules, focusing on technical requirements documents and drawing releases
  • Coordinate interfaces between project and procurement teams, representing procurement in project-related activities
  • Provide project-specific terms and conditions to responsible buyers
  • Drive make-or-buy decisions based on overall strategy, including supplier input for business cases
  • Coordinate project-related material cost reduction activities
  • Manage supplier documentation, including requirements and execution
  • Ensure dual or multi-sourcing activities are shared, aligned, and agreed with the project team
  • Facilitate contact with suppliers to support parts approval processes
  • Secure that strategies are implemented and project sourcing plans are aligned with global commodity management

Requirements

  • University of Applied Science degree (engineer or commercial) or comparable
  • Technical knowledge and expertise
  • Strong personal responsibility and willingness to travel
  • Capability and willingness to work in an international environment
  • Ability to communicate in German and English
  • Good knowledge of MS-Excel and PowerPoint, SAP knowledge a plus
