Global Account Strategist

About this role
The Global Key Account Manager will collaborate with the Global Key Account Director to develop and execute strategies that maximize sales and profit at a leading German Tier 1 account. This will result in the highest possible level of customer satisfaction while driving business growth. The ideal candidate will work remotely from home in Southern Germany or in our Munich office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales and profit growth at the account, taking ownership of relevant KPIs and driving corrective actions as needed.
- Understand the customer's business strategy, opportunities, and challenges, identifying opportunities for Nexperia and tailoring the Nexperia Value Propositions to meet customer needs.
- Understand the customer's formal and informal hierarchy, identifying decision-makers and establishing suitable relationship strategies to improve Nexperia's position at the account.
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies and tactics in cooperation with the Global Key Account Director and Marketing Teams.
- Represent and convey customer needs internally, ensuring adequate priorities are set to execute against strategy.
- Monitor and improve logistic and quality performance, delegating issues to relevant stakeholders within our organization as needed.
- Ensure timely updates of key internal systems and processes with accurate information.
- Consolidate the above into a Customer Business Plan, clearly communicating expectations and requirements towards Nexperia to meet business targets.
- Gather and communicate market and competitor information into the organization.
- Organize technical workshops with the customer and internal Business Review Meetings throughout the year.
Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the automotive industry with Tier 1 accounts or similar experience as a Field Application Engineer, either in the semiconductor industry or a related business.
- Detailed technical understanding of automotive applications is a plus.
- Solid experience promoting standard and commodity products.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, result-oriented, customer-focused.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English, with other languages a plus.
- Team player with a hands-on mentality.
- Proven track record of working in multicultural and international teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
