Senior System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our engineering team for international locomotive projects in Europe, Asia, and North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical clarification, specification, software development, and verification of the traction system for our electric or hybrid-electric locomotives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement software solutions for the traction system, ensuring high performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and validate locomotive systems.
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and technological advancements, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our products.
- Contribute to the development of our platform strategy, ensuring reusability and efficiency in our solutions.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics with a focus on drive technology and/or power electronics.
- Proven experience in control of electrical drives, with a strong understanding of structured and model-based software development.
- Knowledge of alternative drive technologies, such as battery and/or hydrogen.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with customers and internal stakeholders.
