Join Our Team as a Senior System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to join our engineering team for international locomotive projects in Europe, Asia, and North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical clarification, specification, software development, and verification of the traction system for our electric or hybrid-electric locomotives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement software for the traction system, ensuring seamless integration with the locomotive's hardware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and validate the traction system, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with our engineering team to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and requirements, driving the technical further development of the traction control system.
  • Contribute to the development of our platform strategy, ensuring reusability of work results and fostering innovation.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics with a focus on drive technology and/or power electronics.
  • Proven experience in control of electrical drives, with a strong understanding of structured and model-based software development.
  • Knowledge of alternative drive technologies, such as battery and/or hydrogen.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
