Head of Product Development for Electric Actuators

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of our Electric Actuators product line, working closely with our international teams to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the development of Electric Actuators products across multiple sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Collaborate with product line management, product, and project management to drive technical strategy and innovation.
  • Develop and implement plans to expand and develop necessary resources and skills within the global development footprint.
  • Promote innovative strength and ensure innovative product design through the targeted use of new technologies and agile methods.
  • Drive forward technology developments and support team leaders as a sparring partner with regard to the technical feasibility of new concepts.
Requirements:
  • Completed technical studies, e.g., in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or a comparable degree.
  • Several years of experience in the management of executives and in the product development of mechanical products for industrial applications, ideally in an international group.
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English.
  • Strong methodological and coaching skills with regard to the systematic, structured development of concepts and their implementation in series products.
  • Ability to deal with conflict, assertiveness, and strong decision-making skills.
  • Passion for technical innovations.
  • Empathy combined with the ability to inspire employees and empower teams.
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20%) and intercultural competence.
