Senior Business Development Manager

We are Meetsales GmbH, a game-changing eCommerce startup revolutionizing online sales, especially in B2B. Our company has been backed by Atlantic Labs and several well-recognized Business Angels.
We are a team of ambitious, young, and hungry folks who love to solve problems and spot opportunities. We appreciate a hands-on approach and taking ownership of one's actions, as it is the only way to achieve our ambitious goals.
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for setting the stage in the entirely new market for Meetsales. Your main responsibility will be to start and continue to grow the new business in the DACH region across multiple sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our CEO and Co-founder. You will have a real impact on our sales strategy and business growth while being the very first person from the German market to join our team.
We are looking for a self-driven, open-minded, ambitious, and motivated sales professional who wants to work for a forward-thinking, fast-paced startup. Ideally, you would have some experience with marketing, and a strong background in business development, sales, or customer success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generating new leads, closing new business, and providing a first-class service
- Building a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against sales targets
- Working closely with our CEO on sales strategy and business development each day
- Cooperating with our marketing team to share insights and help them understand the market
Requirements include:
- 5+ years experience in Business Development in the DACH region
- Experience in working with eCommerce and SaaS companies
- Good understanding of software-related ideas and terms
- Will to work in a changing environment
- Native or fluent German
- Strong English skills - written and spoken
