We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sales and Analytics Director to join our global team at SharkNinja. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving category performance, profitability, and market share through strong commercial management and effective execution of category strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Leadership
    • Develop and execute category strategies to drive growth and profitability
    • Build strong partnerships with sales and marketing functions to drive commercial plans
    • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly commercial reviews to drive short-term and long-term actions
  • Growth and Expansion
    • Identify opportunities to enter and expand into new markets and channels
    • Develop strategic plans to win higher distribution and in-house share with customers
    • Ensure teams are aligned with market pulse and capitalize on opportunities while managing risks
  • Category Management
    • Oversee product portfolio management, including pricing, SKU additions, and discontinuations
    • Ensure optimal product assortment and merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability
    • Develop and execute promotional plans to drive sales and profitability
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage category budgets, including sales forecasts, promotional spend, and profitability
    • Track and analyze category financial performance and identify areas for improvement
    • Develop and implement cost-efficiency initiatives and margin improvement strategies
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and R&D
    • Ensure alignment and coordination across departments to achieve category goals
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in category or commercial management, operations role
  • Fluent German and English
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and critically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Problem-solving and initiative
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at various levels
  • Ability to travel as needed
