Global Wholesale Learning Manager

Purpose

This role is focused on developing the skills and knowledge of the adidas sales force to drive business growth with our retail partners around the globe. The Senior Manager Wholesale Learning will develop learning programs, manage agency relationships, drive implementation, and foster engagement with our market partners across the globe.

Key Accountabilities

  • Create, ideate, and research learning programs, interventions, events, and partners to build knowledge and skills for the wholesale audience globally.
  • Relationship and project management with global and local internal business matter experts to create learning programs and content.
  • Support strategic planning process and learning needs analysis engaging in global and local calls for input and sell-in.
  • Manage vendors and external agencies in the design and creation of impactful learning programs.
  • Engage and manage global wholesale digital community and information calendar and platform.
  • Oversee budget and processes for wholesale learning programs and go-to-market.
  • Partner with internal experts for analytics and digital tools ensuring best-in-class implementation and analysis to deliver impact and measure program results to adjust as needed.
  • Manage and oversee the budget implementation process.
  • Prepare monthly insights (Power BI) and develop the insights tools (Excel reports and Power BI Dashboard).
  • Through external networking, bench learning, and research, contribute to further develop Sales Academy wholesale learning to be best-in-class and future-proof.
  • Product Owner for the One Stop Shop Wholesale Learning Lab: Main counterpart for the agency, bug fixing, and development of functionalities and the UX.

  • Global: Global Wholesale organization, Global Talent Team, Global Sales HR Team, Global Sales Academy.
  • Markets: Market Sales Development and Wholesale and DPC Leads, HR Partners.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Solid wholesale experience on a global or market level. In-depth understanding of wholesale processes, tools, systems, and timelines.
  • Strong project and budget management and planning skills. Highly organized and demonstrated follow-through.
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative strategies, analyze data, and identify learning solutions.
  • Flexibility to work with short timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relationship management: Ability to interact at all levels within an organization—both orally and in writing.
  • Passion for people development.
  • Project management skills.
  • Data-driven decision maker.
  • Able to derive insights from a variety of data sets.
  • Broad understanding of how all facets of learning principles and methodologies can affect participant motivation, learning needs, and the learning experience.
  • Creative mind for problem-solving and brainstorming new ideas with an ability to adjust to an ever-changing environment.
  • Solid understanding of the wholesale landscape and sell-in process.
  • Digital community management experience a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Additional language is an advantage.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience paired with a strong interest in training and/or learning management.
  • Diploma or degree from an educational entity focusing on Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Personnel Administration, or related field.
