About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our Order Engineering team at Flowserve. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical order processing of dry-running vacuum pumps and systems, as well as managing projects related to maintenance aspects within the OE department.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable directives and standards, such as the Machinery Directive and ATEX Directive.
  • Perform structured risk and/or hazard analyses for customer claims or internal objections, including documentation of corrective actions using common quality tools.
  • Provide sales support to achieve a Clear Order status, including reviewing customer specifications and selecting appropriate EIA components.
  • Develop, adapt, and maintain EIA documentation, including product maintenance of systems.
  • Transfer EIA knowledge and coordinate order-related topics within the OE network.
  • Manage or collaborate in engineering projects and initiatives across different sites.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental interfaces and create process descriptions, work, and test instructions to support and stabilize work processes in the OE.
  • Support start-ups in collaboration with other departments, taking into account relevant Flowserve best practices, policies, guidelines, national and international norms, and standards.

Your Profile:

  • A completed university education in electrical engineering, instrumentation and automation engineering, communications engineering/physics, or equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in the EIA area of the process industry, as well as related industrial areas.
  • Profound knowledge in the use of E-Plan, automation technology, programming, drive technology, instrumentation, and planning and design of electrical systems.
  • Knowledge in the preparation of hazard analyses/HAZOPs and cooperation/design of PFMEAs.
  • Interest in current trends and developments of Industry 4.0 and digitalization.
  • Knowledge in the area of maintenance (preventive/reactive, SMED) and project management with appropriate tools.
  • Fluent German and English.
  • Engagement and independent, goal-oriented way of working.
  • Accuracy and abstracting skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP-R3, CAD-EPlan, Project management.
  • Additional experience in 3D CAD (Solid Work/Winchill), FEM.
