Lead Systems Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Engineer (M/F/T) to join our Order Engineering department, focusing on the technical processing of dry-running vacuum pumps and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with relevant directives and standards, such as the Machinery Directive and ATEX Directive, tailored for various global markets.
- Conduct structured risk and hazard analyses for customer feedback or internal issues, documenting corrective measures with established quality tools (e.g., FMEA, 5-why, Ishikawa).
- Provide sales support to achieve a Clear Order status by reviewing customer specifications and determining the scope of technical offers.
- Create and maintain essential documentation related to electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring accuracy for product maintenance.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and coordinate EIA topics across the OE network, collaborating with product development, sales, and service teams to ensure seamless order execution.
- Manage or collaborate on engineering projects across multiple sites.
- Coordinate interdepartmental interfaces and develop process descriptions and work instructions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support project start-ups in collaboration with various departments, adhering to best practices and international standards.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation and Automation Engineering, Communications Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the EIA sector of the process industry, such as petrochemical or pharmaceutical fields.
- Strong proficiency in E-Plan and a solid understanding of automation technology, programming, and instrumentation.
- Experience in conducting hazard analyses and contributing to PFMEAs.
- Interest in Industry 4.0 trends and digitalization.
- Familiarity with maintenance strategies and project management tools is advantageous.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SAP-R3, CAD-EPlan, and project management methodologies.
- Experience with 3D CAD software and FEM is a plus.
