Job Summary

Festo Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the field. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing sales activities, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales activities and develop sales strategies to achieve sales growth and market objectives.
  • Coach, assist, and direct Sales Engineers and distributors in sales territories to ensure quotas and goals are met.
  • Participate in sales calls with customers to ensure relationships are consistent with overall corporate objectives and to monitor performance of Sales Engineers.
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine contribution towards overall sales/financial goals of the company.
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and support sales campaigns to accommodate goals of the company.
  • Monitor accounts to analyze customer needs, cross-sell products, and resolve issues pertaining to product, service, deliveries, billing, credit, etc.
  • Conduct staff/sales meetings, which can include training sessions, performance review of region/branch, developing sales strategies to increase sales individually and within region.
  • Establish training needs and maintain a professional, trained, and motivated staff.
  • Represent the company at trade shows to promote products.
  • Liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of the division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years related sales experience and/or training.
  • 2-4 years management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of fluid power, electronics, and electromechanical engineering.
  • Solid understanding of Industrial Automation.
