District Sales Manager

Festo Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for managing sales activities in assigned territories to achieve sales growth and market objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage sales activities in assigned territories to attain sales growth and market objectives.
- Coach, assist, and direct Sales Engineers and distributors in sales territories to ensure quotas and goals are met.
- Participate in sales calls with customers to ensure relationships are consistent with overall corporate objectives and to monitor performance of Sales Engineers.
- Analyze sales statistics to determine contribution towards overall sales/financial goals of the company.
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and support sales campaigns to accommodate goals of the company.
- Monitor accounts to analyze customer needs, cross-sell products, and resolve issues pertaining to product, service, deliveries, billing, credit, etc.
- Conduct staff/sales meetings, which can include training sessions, performance reviews of regions/branches, developing sales strategies to increase sales individually and within regions.
- Establish training needs and maintain a professional, trained, and motivated staff.
- Represent the company at trade shows to promote products.
- Liaison between sales department and other sales-related units.
- Analyze and control expenditures of the division to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-7 years related sales experience and/or training.
- 2-4 years management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of fluid power, electronics, and electromechanical engineering.
- Solid understanding of Industrial Automation.
