About the Role

At Workday GmbH (Euro), we're seeking a talented Sales Executive to join our Field Sales organization. As a key player in our team, you'll be responsible for driving new customer growth and fueling our company's expansion into new markets.

This exciting role requires a hardworking professional who can guide new customers through a journey of transformation, helping them move beyond legacy platforms and adopt a new class of enterprise management cloud solutions.

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering long-lasting value to our customers and partners with them to craft relevant solutions that meet their needs.

As a Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing strategies for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territories
  • Performing account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Initiating and supporting sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects and sharing our value propositions
  • Maintaining accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Prior experience in cloud business application sales leading complex sales cycles end-to-end
  • Experience in selling to C-level in a strong team selling environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Experience in engaging in a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within your territory

Other Qualifications

  • Proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities
  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts
