About the Opportunity

We're seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our EMEA finance team in seven countries. As a Senior Manager, Accounting, you'll drive the finance and accounting function, ensuring timely and accurate close processes, system enhancements, and effective policy and control.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, own, and drive the financial statement close process (monthly/quarterly/annual) under US GAAP, including review of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Quarterly review of Balance sheet and Income Statement for EMEA.
  • Collaborate with international teams to standardize and improve the International Accounting process design, including US GAAP requirements, local reporting requirements, and SOX initiatives.
  • Identify areas of improvement in policies and procedures to provide assurance of the accuracy of financial reports.
  • Work with outsourced providers on ERP system design, implementation, and enhancement special projects as requested.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting, with a solid knowledge of US GAAP, general ledger structure, and financial statements.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, multi-task, and work independently.
  • Modern process and tools thinking, specifically working to implement, integrate, and improve on accounting and financial technology and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect and collaborate effectively with a diverse set of peers and stakeholders.
