Global Sales Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Sales Director to lead our international channel management strategy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a global framework for sales channel management, focusing on indirect sales.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Global Channel Management Strategy: Consolidate local sales channel management strategies into a single global framework, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to identify and convert sales channels into viable markets, driving business growth.
- Operational Planning: Translate strategy into actionable plans, ensuring effective execution and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Decision-Making: Make informed decisions regarding price-performance ratio, product portfolio, and services to increase market share in relevant sales channels.
- Performance Metrics and Market Data Analysis: Regularly assess channel performance metrics and market data to derive insights, enhance channel effectiveness, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Relationship Building and Leadership: Develop and foster strong relationships with existing and potential resellers, converting them into proactive partners for mutual growth. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the sales channel team, promoting a culture of innovation, excellence, and adaptability.
- Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in B2B sales, ensuring the company remains competitive.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of work experience in senior sales roles within a technical or manufacturing context.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability in managing diverse (indirect) sales channels, results-driven mindset, proficiency in data analytics tools and CRM systems, strong leadership skills, exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, flexibility, and willingness to travel globally as needed.
- Language Skills: Very good written and spoken English skills, with good to very good German skills advantageous.
