Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Breeding Information Specialist to join our team at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA. As a key member of our Breeding Information Team, you will be responsible for contributing to documentation management, data curation, user support, training, and software implementations across crops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Management: Draft technical documentation, including process maps, quality management handbooks, master data, data dictionaries, and other relevant materials.
  • Data Curation: Curate historical data sets, perform data transformation, and ensure data quality to support software tools in breeding.
  • User Support: Provide first-level support for software tools used in breeding, including training and software implementation.
  • Software Implementation: Assist with the organization of software implementation across crops in breeding stations.
  • Document Administration: Manage document libraries in collaborative repositories, such as SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Team Support: Participate in team coordination, including meetings, events, calendars, onboarding, and other special activities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to standardize, digitalize, and automate documentation management and knowledge management processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, computer science, or related fields.
  • Experience: Proven experience in documentation management, information management, and process mapping using professional tools.
  • Skills: Knowledge of e-learning tools, plant breeding processes, and collaboration with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Language: Excellent communication skills in English, with German or other languages being a plus.
