Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Breeding Information Specialist to join our team at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA. As a key member of our Breeding Information Team, you will be responsible for managing and curating large datasets, creating technical documentation, and implementing software solutions to support our breeding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation Management: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process maps, quality management handbooks, and data dictionaries.
  • Data Curation: Curate historical data sets, perform data transformation, and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Software Implementation: Assist with the implementation of software tools across crops, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
  • User Support: Provide first-level support for software tools, ensuring timely resolution of user queries and issues.
  • Documentation Creation: Develop user manuals, presentations, and videos to facilitate learning and adoption of software tools.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, computer science, or related fields.
  • Experience: Proven experience in documentation management, data curation, and software implementation.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with proficiency in German or other languages a plus.
