Role Overview: As a key member of the Breeding Information Team, you will play a vital role in managing documentation, curating data, providing user assistance, and implementing software solutions across different crop categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and maintain technical documentation such as process maps, quality management handbooks, master data, and data dictionaries.
  • Create user manuals, presentations, and instructional videos to enhance the understanding of software tools used in breeding.
  • Curate and transform historical datasets to ensure compatibility with new software applications.
  • Assist in coordinating software implementation initiatives across breeding stations.
  • Provide first-level support for software tools utilized in breeding.
  • Manage document libraries within collaborative platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Support the organization of team activities including meetings, events, and onboarding processes.
  • Utilize professional tools for process mapping (e.g., Visio, Signavio).
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal); proficiency in German or other languages is advantageous.
