For KWS Saat SE & Co. KGaA, we are seeking a Breeding Information Specialist (m/f/d). As a vital member of the Breeding Information Team, your role will encompass managing documentation, curating data, providing user support, facilitating training, and implementing software solutions across various crops. This position is temporary, part-time (20 hours per week), and offers flexibility in work location.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Creating technical documentation such as process maps, quality management handbooks, master data, and data dictionaries.
  • Developing user manuals, presentations, and instructional videos to enhance the understanding of breeding software tools.
  • Curating historical datasets and transforming data to integrate with new software applications.
  • Assisting in the organization of software implementations across breeding stations.
  • Providing first-level support for breeding software tools.
  • Managing document libraries within collaborative platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Coordinating special team activities, including meetings, events, and onboarding processes.
  • Identifying opportunities for standardization, digitalization, and automation in documentation and knowledge management.

Your qualifications:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in life sciences, computer science, or related fields.
  • Experience in documentation and information management.
  • Proficiency in process mapping using professional tools (e.g., Visio, Signavio).
  • Familiarity with e-learning preparation tools (e.g., WalkMe, Camtasia).
  • Desirable knowledge of plant breeding processes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal); proficiency in German or other languages is advantageous.
  • Enthusiasm for implementing digital solutions.
  • Service-oriented, organized, and a collaborative team player.
