About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA. As a key member of our breeding process team, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our breeding processes to improve efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Analysis and Optimization: Conduct thorough analysis of our breeding processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Seed Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective seed inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking and management of seed stock.
  • Process Mapping and Documentation: Create detailed process maps and documentation to standardize and improve breeding processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with station experts and other team members to implement software and hardware solutions to improve breeding processes.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on new software and hardware solutions.
  • Gap Analysis and Digitalization: Conduct gap analysis between legacy systems to identify opportunities for process optimization and digitalization.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with previous experience as a business or process analyst in a corporate environment.
  • Experience: Proven experience with software implementation in an international company, process excellence methodology, project management, and data management.
  • Skills: Effective collaboration and communication in cross-functional teams, result-oriented working style, and proficiency in programming languages.
  • Language: Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, with German or other languages a plus.
  • Travel: Availability for national and international travel up to 20%.
