This role is integral to the EMEA sales team based in Germany and will operate entirely remotely. At IDT, we function as one cohesive team. We celebrate our diversity, engage in constructive discussions, and uphold inclusivity. Together, we achieve remarkable outcomes.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Strategically develop and manage assigned accounts to deliver solutions, drive revenue growth, and meet sales objectives.
  • Research and identify growth opportunities within the territory to formulate an effective business plan and sales strategy.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools, applying these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build a robust opportunity pipeline, and make informed business decisions.
  • Maintain regular and informative communication with all team members, including cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, and others.

The essential qualifications for this role include:

  • A Master's degree in a Life Science discipline or a Bachelor's degree accompanied by relevant Life Sciences sales experience.
  • Residency in the designated region and extensive familiarity with existing academic, corporate, and government accounts in the area.
  • Fundamental knowledge of genomics is required; experience with applications in NGS, qPCR, cloning, mutagenesis, etc., and a working knowledge of accounts in the assigned territory is preferred.
  • Proficiency in both German and English languages.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Up to 50% of the working time may involve travel.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is necessary.

It would be advantageous if you also possess prior experience in:

  • Exceptional skills in prospecting, territory management, lead management, negotiation, and closing. Ability to mentor less experienced team members as part of their development.
