In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Strategically develop and oversee assigned accounts to deliver solutions, drive revenue growth, and meet sales objectives.
  • Investigate and comprehend territory expansion opportunities to formulate an effective business plan and sales strategy.
  • Cultivate comprehensive knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools, applying these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build an opportunity pipeline, and make informed business decisions.
  • Maintain regular and informative communication with all team members, including cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, and others.

The essential qualifications for this role include:

  • A Master's degree in a Life Science discipline or a Bachelor's degree with relevant Life Sciences sales experience.
  • Residency in the designated region and extensive familiarity with existing academic, corporate, and government accounts in the area.
  • Fundamental knowledge of genomics is required; experience with applications in NGS, qPCR, cloning, mutagenesis, etc., and a working knowledge of accounts in the assigned territory is preferred.
  • Proficiency in both German and English languages.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Up to 50% of working time may involve travel.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.

It would be advantageous if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Exceptional skills in prospecting, territory management, lead management, negotiation, and closing. Ability to mentor less experienced team members as part of their development.
