This role is integral to the EMEA sales team based in Germany and will operate in a fully remote capacity. At IDT, we function as one cohesive team. We celebrate our diversity, engage in constructive discussions, and embrace inclusivity. Together, we achieve remarkable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically develop and oversee assigned accounts to deliver solutions, drive revenue growth, and meet sales objectives.
  • Research and identify growth opportunities within the territory to formulate an effective business plan and sales strategy.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools, applying these skills consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build a robust opportunity pipeline, and make informed business decisions.
  • Maintain regular and informative communication with all team members, including cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, and others.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in a Life Science discipline or a Bachelor's degree accompanied by relevant Life Sciences sales experience is required.
  • Must reside in the designated region and possess extensive familiarity with existing academic, corporate, and government accounts in the area.
  • Basic knowledge of genomics is necessary; experience with applications such as NGS, qPCR, cloning, mutagenesis, etc., and a working knowledge of accounts in the assigned territory is preferred.
  • Proficiency in both German and English is required.

Travel and Physical Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the working time.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional skills in prospecting, territory management, lead management, negotiation, and closing. Ability to mentor less experienced team members as part of their professional development.
