Lead Data Management - Material Master Cluster

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Lead to support our Data Management Tower as Lead Data Management - Material Master Cluster at our Frankfurt Headquarter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will own the Material Master data cluster's strategy, objectives, and implementation.
  • You will lead and mentor the Data Owners or Sub-Owners in your cluster.
  • You are accountable for the data objects definition of the Material Master cluster and contribute to ensuring the data is properly defined, following standards and policies across the organisation.
  • You will provide functional expertise to define data models, governance, processes, harmonisation, and data quality rules.
  • You will oversee Data Quality Management activities for all data objects within your data cluster and provide guidance on prioritisation and metrics.
  • You will review data migration reports with the Data Owner and recommend corrective action if necessary.

Requirements:

  • You have a degree in business administration, business informatics, engineering, or comparable studies with several years of professional experience in a leadership role.
  • You bring relevant experience in a Master Data Management-oriented role in a technical and commercial context and are motivated in leading the Data Cluster Material Master.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of (SAP) Data model, industry-leading Data Quality and Data Management practices especially in Material Master data objects.
  • You are highly skilled in change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change, and performance measurement system design.
  • You have excellent analytical skills with a focus on details as well as problem-solving competence.
  • You enjoy communicating and facilitating in English with senior-level management from technology and business in an international and intercultural environment.
