Job Title: Lead Data Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Management professional to join our team at KION Group. As a key member of our Business Transformation Program, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Data Management Tower.

About the Role:

As Lead Data Management, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring Data Owners in your clusters, owning the Asset Management data cluster's strategy, objectives, and implementation. You will also be accountable for defining data objects, providing functional expertise, and overseeing Data Quality Management activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data management strategies and objectives for the Asset Management data cluster.
  • Lead and mentor Data Owners in your clusters to ensure effective data management practices.
  • Define and maintain data objects, ensuring they are properly defined and follow standards and policies across the organization.
  • Provide functional expertise in data modeling, governance, processes, harmonization, and data quality rules.
  • Oversee Data Quality Management activities for all data objects within your data cluster and provide guidance on prioritization and metrics.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a Master Data Management-oriented role, preferably with leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, industry-leading data quality, and data protection management practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior-level management.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to facilitate in an international and intercultural environment.
