Lead Consultant Strategy Advisory - Value Enhancement (m/f/d)

Support your team in the strategy consulting domain, primarily focusing on both national and international clients in developing strategies aimed at enhancing corporate profitability. This may involve projects related to cost reduction or revenue maximization. For instance, in the context of revenue growth, you might devise new sales models for a consumer goods manufacturer, identify strategic alternatives for an automotive supplier, assist in uncovering growth opportunities, or pinpoint potential synergies in the deal sector. In terms of cost reduction, you could identify optimization potentials within the supply chain of a machinery manufacturer, in the procurement processes of a retailer, or within support functions. Be a trusted advisor to our clients, ranging from global corporations to medium-sized family businesses and private equity portfolio companies.

Your Responsibilities
If you wish to leverage your expertise to strategically advance our clients, here’s how you can contribute:

  • Developing concepts for sustainable value enhancement and strategic cost optimization programs will be among your primary responsibilities (Value Enhancement).
  • You will create market entry, growth, and sales strategies (Growth Strategy).
  • Additionally, you will conduct portfolio analyses and derive optimization potentials (Enterprise & Portfolio Strategy).
  • You will lead projects in close collaboration with our clients, guiding them in the future-oriented alignment of their business portfolios—from strategy development to transaction advisory and implementation support.
  • You will undertake acquisition screening and analyze business models as part of Commercial Due Diligences (Deal Strategy).
  • Alternatively, you will identify operational risks and cost-saving potentials during an Operational Due Diligence.
  • You will also be responsible for client acquisition and relationship management.
Your Profile
  • As a Lead Consultant (m/f/d) in Strategy Advisory – Value Enhancement, you will have a degree in (Business) Engineering, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, Humanities, or a related field.
  • You have accumulated at least five years of professional experience in strategy development, cost reduction or value enhancement programs, business development, mergers & acquisitions, digital business models, or management consulting.
  • You have developed a solid specialization; not everyone needs to excel in every area.
  • You possess (initial) project management and leadership experience.
  • Moreover, you demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills and enjoy tackling complex questions.
  • Additionally, you exhibit excellent communication skills and possess fluent English proficiency; other language skills are a plus.
  • As our clients operate globally, you are willing to travel, and international experience is advantageous.
  • Your ability to work in teams and your persuasive demeanor complete your qualifications.
