Head of Finance Operations Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accounting and finance operations of our German business, ensuring compliance with German regulations.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial analysis, including P&L and BS key items review and budget tracking.
  • Manage external audits and lead the preparation of annual statutory financial statements (HGB) for German entities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide expert advice and implement new business streams and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvements in finance and accounting processes, identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Work with the controlling team and CFO to prepare coherent P&L, liquidity, and balance sheet plans.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 2 people, providing guidance and support.
  • Report to the Director of Finance.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong technical finance or accounting knowledge and a degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience in leading and developing teams.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Ability to delegate and manage the work of others while maintaining a hands-on operational perspective.
  • Very good German and English language skills and an appreciative communication style.
