Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Oversee accounting and finance operations for our German business, ensuring compliance with German regulations;
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial analysis, including P&L and BS key items review and budget tracking;
  • Manage external audits and lead the preparation of annual statutory financial statements (HGB) for German entities;
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial expertise and advice;
  • Drive continuous improvements in finance and accounting processes, identifying opportunities for business growth;
  • Work with the controlling team and CFO to prepare coherent P&L, liquidity, and balance sheet plans;
  • Lead and mentor a team of 2 people;
  • Report to our Director of Finance.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting;
  • Strong technical finance or accounting knowledge and a degree in Finance or Accounting;
  • Experience in leading and developing teams;
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections;
  • Ability to delegate and manage the work of others while maintaining a hands-on operational perspective;
  • Very good German and English language skills and an appreciative communication style.
