We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance Operations to join our team at Flink. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance operations of our German business and ensuring compliance with German regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial analysis, including P&L and BS key items review and budget tracking.
- Manage external audits and lead the preparation of annual statutory financial statements (HGB) for the German entities.
- Interface with other departments and provide advice based on your expertise, including implementation of new business streams and processes.
- Drive continuous improvements of our finance and accounting processes and identify opportunities for business improvement.
- Collaborate with the controlling team and CFO to prepare coherent P&L, liquidity, and balance sheet plans.
- Lead and mentor a team of 2 people.
- Report to our Director of Finance.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the field of finance or accounting.
- Strong technical finance or accounting knowledge and a degree within Finance or Accounting.
- Experience in leading and developing teams.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Ability to delegate and manage the work of others while maintaining a hands-on operational perspective.
- Very good German and English language skills and an appreciative communication style, both written and spoken.
