Job Description

Client Engagement Specialist

At Dow Jones, we are seeking a highly skilled Client Engagement Specialist to join our Business Intelligence team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing all renewal aspects of our relationships with a defined set of customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a retention strategy for assigned strategic accounts
  • Provide regular updates to your manager on high-risk renewal accounts and propose strategies to turn them around
  • Work closely with the Product Training Specialist team to ensure customers receive the necessary training and support
  • Oversee the entire renewal lifecycle, from pricing and contracting to invoicing and client support
  • Support new sales initiatives into existing accounts to maximize customer return on investment
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather feedback and competitive intelligence
  • Maintain accurate client records and communicate effectively with clients via phone and email
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in customer engagement or sales
  • Proficient in German and English
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Google Drive
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
