This position focuses on managing the relationship with a prominent banking institution in Germany, promoting, selling, and implementing the comprehensive suite of Visa products and services. The role requires overseeing client projects across the Visa organization, fostering robust partnerships with our banking client, and delivering tailored solutions to achieve mutual business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategic framework for the banking client to drive mutual success, crafting clear propositions for the complete range of Visa offerings. Formulate a detailed Account Plan in collaboration with your supervisor to prioritize and execute effectively.
- Adopt a cooperative approach to comprehend our clients' requirements and business implications, recommending services and solutions to collaboratively enhance business growth.
- Establish and maintain relationships throughout the client's organization, including senior executives and service providers. Identify essential stakeholders and remain engaged to uncover opportunities and challenges promptly.
- Contribute to the annual business and account strategies for your banking client to meet revenue and profitability objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Visa (Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Consultants, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions as a unified team and proactively develop client business.
- Participate actively in negotiations, manage, and lead the customer contract processes.
- Exhibit and enhance a thorough understanding of the payment technology landscape, particularly Visa products and services.
- Drive business initiatives, engage with clients, collaborate closely with peers, and celebrate achievements with enthusiasm and a positive spirit.
This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing employees to alternate between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to be in the office 2-3 designated days per week, as determined by leadership, with a general expectation of being present in the office at least 50% of the time based on business requirements.
Qualifications:- Demonstrated experience, enthusiasm, curiosity, and knowledge of retail banking and/or the payment industry.
- Strong credentials in a client-facing capacity, with a proven track record of meeting commercial targets.
- Experience in Sales, Business Development, or Relationship Management, with a solid background in cultivating client relationships and rapidly expanding existing partnerships.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities and proactively propose solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues and influence external stakeholders and decision-makers at all organizational levels.
- Proven skills in influencing, selling, and negotiation.
- Outstanding presentation and communication abilities (both written and verbal).
- Excellent capability to interpret and convey complex business information.
- High standards of integrity and business ethics.
- Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written. A Master's degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
