The Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology is seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in Jena, Germany.

About the Position

We are looking for a researcher with a strong background in life sciences or chemistry to work on a project focused on natural product discovery and microbial interactions. The successful candidate will be part of our junior research group and will have the opportunity to work on a multifaceted scientific project with excellent technical facilities and strong scientific collaborations.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on natural product isolation and characterization
  • Develop and implement new methods for natural product bioinformatics
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals
  • Communicate research findings through publications and presentations
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in life sciences or chemistry
  • Experience in natural product isolation and characterization or natural product bioinformatics
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Python programming
