Power Electronics Application Specialist

At Infineon Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Application Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our EMEA region, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and delivering innovative solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop high-performance power electronics solutions for various applications, leveraging Infineon's wide range of products.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to identify new business opportunities and develop tailored solutions.
- Act as a technical interface and consultant to customers, providing expert advice and support on power electronics design and implementation.
- Derive customer requirements and market trends to develop system value propositions and drive business growth.
- Proactively manage projects with the Sales department to achieve Design-Win Targets.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with technical decision-makers at customers and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Field Application Engineer or Design Engineer in power electronics, with a focus on selection and design of IGBTs, MOSFETs, and power modules.
- Practical lab experience, thermal or EMC design, layout, and simulations.
- Project Management skills, self-motivated follow-up on action items.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German, Spanish, French as a plus.
