About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Power Electronics Application Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of our power electronics solutions in various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Win of power electronics solutions, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, power modules, and gate drivers, to maximize future business opportunities.
  • Identify and leverage potential sockets inside applications and BOMs to drive business growth and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with customers to define new products and derivatives, and provide technical support and guidance to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Act as a technical interface and consultant to customers, identifying technical experts needed to support project requirements.
  • Derive customer requirements and market trends to develop system value propositions and drive business growth.
  • Manage projects with the sales department to achieve design-win targets and drive business results.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with technical decision-makers at customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform measurements in our lab to support project requirements and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of study.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Field Application Engineer or Design Engineer in power electronics, with a focus on selection and design of IGBTs, MOSFETs, power modules, and gate drivers.
  • Practical lab experience in thermal or EMC design, layout, and simulations.
  • Project Management skills and self-motivated follow-up on action items.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with German, Spanish, or French as a plus.
