Sales Leader for Life Science Sales Team

Overview

As a Sales Manager (f,m,d) at Bio-Rad, you will lead one of our Life Science Sales Teams, collaborating with a resilient and tenacious sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets. You will be field-based or hybrid in the greater Munich area.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Develop and manage the sales team, monitoring sales activities related to the region.
  • Establish annual sales quotas and forecast sales revenue on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, maintaining a close view on funnel opportunities.
  • Participate in the LSG CE Sales Management team, driving central European tactics and strategies.
  • Closely cooperate with marketing, service, finance, and other functional teams.
  • Accompany direct reports on sales calls to key customers, assist in managing relationships, and help close sales as needed.
  • Analyze sales trends, directing the team to the highest priority activities.
  • Communicate market, industry, and competitor trends to leadership and other key personnel.

What You Bring:

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, molecular biology, protein chemistry, cell biology, or related subjects.
  • Successful track record with at least 5 years of experience in Life Science Sales.
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate people.
  • Strong analytical thinking, verbal and written communication skills, negotiation abilities, and mature interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Familiarity with CRM (preferably Salesforce), MS Office 365, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
