Overview

Bio-Rad is seeking a Sales Professional for Food Science to join our team in Northern Germany. As an Account Manager, you will collaborate with our resilient sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the forefront of Sales in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve/exceed sales, marketing, and financial goals for the Food Science product portfolio in your territory.
  • Drive business initiatives to grow sales and profitability aligned with team goals.
  • Focus on direct customers, managing day-to-day sales activities in Northern Germany.
  • Collaborate with the Field Application Specialists team to provide technical expertise in the Food Science Business.
  • Develop sales strategies to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, moving key opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Review sales performance with management quarterly.
  • Negotiate prices within agreed guidelines.
  • Follow company sales processes and utilize sales resources efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and sales information in the CRM system.
  • Build an external industry network and represent Bio-Rad as an expert.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Microbiology or Chemistry relevant to the role.
  • Work Experience: 3+ years of relevant sales experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the food science industry, with a demonstrated record of success.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Food Microbiology Testing applications and technologies.
  • Proficiency in professional English (reading, writing, speaking) for meetings, reports, presentations, and technical documents.
  • Ideal location: North of Germany.
