Job Summary

The Director Revenue Management and Key Accounts Europe will lead the revenue management strategy for the Europe region, driving revenue growth and maximizing room revenue for each hotel in the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize room revenue and RevPAR Index for each hotel in the region.
  • Lead regional RMS teams and develop close relationships with key partners to provide revenue management support, including rate plan consultations and system setup.
  • Train operations and hotel teams on rate plans and revenue management strategies.
  • Select and oversee 3rd party revenue management service providers to deliver tools and reporting systems to hotels.
  • Collaborate with sub-regional operation and commercial leaders to align on strategies to drive Wyndham's contribution.
  • Represent the company at industry forums and events related to revenue management best practices and industry trends.
Complexity and Decision-Making Authority

This role requires strategic thinking and analysis to develop and implement revenue management strategies, with decision-making authority at a medium level.

  • Supervise and mentor RM analysts, specialists, and managers.
  • Work consists of strategic planning, analysis, and training, with oversight of routine tasks, processes, and operations.
  • Requires active involvement in projects that result in new ideas or methods, with a focus on driving revenue growth and maximizing room revenue.
Scope and Financial Responsibility

This position has a significant revenue impact, with the ability to drive revenue growth and maximize room revenue for each hotel in the portfolio.

  • Ensure that brand standards, revenue management policies, and best practices are implemented to generate incremental revenues and customer loyalty.
  • This position and its direct reports can have a significant impact on a hotel's top-line revenues.
Abilities and Key Competencies
  • Expert-level knowledge of revenue management strategies and systems.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and explain statistical data to develop strategies and generate a course of action.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and motivate others.
  • High proficiency with MS-Office, Salesforce, BI tools, and RMS systems.
Experience and Education
  • BA/BS degree in hospitality, business administration, finance, or economics, or a minimum of six years of experience in revenue management.
  • Minimum of three years of director-level experience in international markets, with central Europe/Germany market knowledge at director level experience a must.
  • Experience managing key account relationships and global acumen to effectively work across different cultures and teams.
  • Fluency in English and German is essential.
