Business Development and Sales Manager

Prestatech, a leading provider of cloud-based credit process solutions and embedded financial products, is expanding into the German market and looking for a Business Development and Sales Manager to identify and develop growth opportunities in Germany for their API-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in Fintech companies or software providers in the financial services sector in Germany.

This position, based in Berlin, reports to the VP of Sales and is responsible for building successful customer relationships in Germany. The main tasks include:

  • Building and maintaining business relationships, closing contracts, and establishing long-term relationships with new customers;
  • Collaborating with customer success and product teams to optimize the customer experience;
  • Leading contract negotiations;
  • Documenting key daily activities for quality reporting;
  • Providing marketing information on competitor activities and market trends.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in business development and sales;
  • Experience in Fintech companies or software providers in the financial services sector in Germany is a must;
  • Excellent skills in process and project management, communication, and high-level negotiation;
  • Strategic thinking;
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality;
  • Great adaptability;
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office applications;
  • An extensive network within the banking sector is a plus;
  • Fluent in German and good knowledge of English;
  • Availability for customer meetings throughout Germany.
