Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at HARMAN International. As a key member of our Telematics Development Team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our automotive electronic products.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD tools such as PTC Creo and CATIA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical designs meet product requirements and specifications.
- Conduct engineering testing and validation to ensure mechanical systems meet performance and reliability standards.
- Develop and implement new mechanical technologies and processes to improve product quality and reduce costs.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of mechanical components and materials.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in mechanical design and engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Expertise in CAD design tools such as PTC Creo and CATIA.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with FEA and DFMEA/DRBFM techniques.
- Knowledge of PLM/PDM systems such as Teamcenter.
- Fluency in English language.
