Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a Senior Principal Engineer specializing in Product Value Analytics to spearhead the product value analytics initiatives for HARMAN's Automotive sector globally.
Key Duties:
- Oversee the creation of product value models grounded in dependable data
- Establish best practices for product valuation across all Automotive offerings
- Develop product value frameworks for cutting-edge technology solutions, including Digital Cockpit and Connectivity systems
- Formulate strategies for cross-departmental teams to boost profitability and sustainability
- Work closely with both internal and external partners to discover optimal value solutions
- Evaluate competitor offerings and facilitate the technical execution of product value models
- Improve the internal product analysis database and create proprietary tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- At least 15 years of experience in Product Value Analysis, Cost Engineering, Value Management, Procurement, or Manufacturing/Engineering
- Experience with advanced technology in automotive or consumer electronics
- Proven leadership and negotiation capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Engineering or an MBA
- Experience in procurement, financial controlling, and accounting
