Data Center Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Security Specialist to join our team at A100 ROW GmbH. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day security operations, reviewing and evaluating security requests and tickets, and guiding and influencing contract security providers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate day-to-day security activities and site operations
- Collaborate with operations and safety managers to ensure facility operations run smoothly
- Provide guidance and leadership to contract security provider personnel
- Evaluate contract security provider performance and request corrective actions as needed
- Foster working relationships to educate data center stakeholders on false alarm reductions
- Extract metrics and analyze data to identify improvements
- Verify data center security programs meet defined global security standards
- Assist in media integrity-related programs and training
- Handle escalations and resolve tasks delegated to the team
- Draft reports and prepare presentations on security operations status
- Collaborate with managers to write and implement security policies, processes, and procedures
- Serve as a customer advocate, identifying security opportunities and crafting innovative solutions
- 1+ year of experience in a standards-based security and safety professional work environment
- 1+ year of experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English
- Ability to travel between local sites as needed
- Valid driver's license
- 1+ year of experience in operations, physical security, or equivalent environment
- 2+ years of experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data
- Basic knowledge of physical security systems and their operation
- Experience with workflow ticketing
- Ability to deal with technically challenging situations and ask for guidance when required
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence to use mistakes as learning opportunities
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- 1+ years of demonstrated leadership skills
- 1+ years of incident response and management experience
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office tools
