Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Facilities Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, including UPSs, PDUs, and diesel generators.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure the optimal performance of data center systems.
- Collaborate with the Site Operations team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Technical training in electrical and mechanical systems, with a focus on data center operations.
- Proven experience in data center maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation for reporting to work for shifts or emergencies.
