DC Security Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Security Specialist (DSS) to coordinate our day-to-day security operation in our Berlin data centers. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical security of our facilities and data. Your attention to detail, innovative approach, and professional demeanor will be essential in driving our security initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate day-to-day activities and site security operations
- Coordinate with Operations and Safety managers for facility operations
- Provide guidance and leadership to contract security provider personnel
- Evaluate the contract security provider performance and service delivery and request corrective actions from vendors as needed
- Foster working relationships to educate data center stakeholders on false alarm reductions
- Extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at and analyzing data
- Verify Data Center security programs are delivered to meet defined global security standards
- Assist in all media integrity related Programs
- Assist in the training of new and existing personnel on behavioral compliance to security policies and procedures
- Handle escalations and resolve tasks delegated and/or assigned to the team
- Draft reports and prepare presentations on the status of physical security operations
- Collaborate with managers in writing and implementing security policies, processes and procedures based on regional or global security initiatives.
- 1+ year of experience working in a standards-based security and safety professional work environment
- 1+ year of experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process and system improvement, and effect quality assurance
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to read, write and speak fluently English
- Must be able to travel between local sites as needed
- Valid driver's license
