Project Logistics Business Development Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team at GEODIS. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Renewable Energy and Capital Projects sectors in the EUROPE Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify and generate new business opportunities with a clear focus on Renewable Energy and Capital Projects in the EUROPE Region
  • Assist in designing the strategy for the regional development of EPC's, Renewable Customers, and Project Owners
  • Monitor the strategy agreed with Project Logistics head office and ensure application regionally
  • Attend customer events, exhibitions, and meetings (internal & external) and deliver presentations about our industry solutions
  • Owning and supporting RFI's and RFQ's and ensure the bids are completed
  • Create new tailor-made products to increase market share
  • Elaborate and propose future budgets to headquarters on commercial opportunities
Requirements
  • Proven record of international business development success
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and the project logistics market, as well as freight forwarding experience
  • Ability to talk the project logistics language with customers and turn customer requirements into business opportunities
  • Strong team leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work extended trips
