Project Logistics Business Development Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team at GEODIS. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Renewable Energy and Capital Projects sectors in the EUROPE Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify and generate new business opportunities with a focus on Renewable Energy and Capital Projects
  • Assist in designing the regional development strategy for EPC's, Renewable Customers, and Project Owners
  • Monitor and implement the regional strategy agreed with Project Logistics head office
  • Attend customer events, exhibitions, and meetings to deliver presentations about our industry solutions
  • Own and support RFI's and RFQ's, ensuring bids are completed
  • Create new tailor-made products to increase market share
  • Elaborate and propose future budgets to headquarters on commercial opportunities
Requirements
  • Proven record of international business development success
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and project logistics market, including freight forwarding experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and turn requirements into business opportunities
  • Strong team leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work extended trips
